Alida
Quinones-Reyes has been working at Morris Heights Health Center
for over 20 years. During this tenure she has held various positions
in Social Services, Operations, Customer Service, HIV Counseling,
Health Education, and Marketing. This comprehensive background
has prepared and propelled Ms. Quinones-Reyes to the level of
senior management as the Vice President for Community Based
Services, a division created in 2001 to consolidate the myriad
outreach and homebound programs. Through her leadership, this
division offers several award winning programs, including Facilitated
Enrollment, School Health, Healthy Families, Community Health
Worker Program, and, the newest addition, The Parent-Child Home
Program. Ms. Quinones-Reyes has been credited with the development
of the Walton Avenue Health Center and the Health Connections
sites. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services
and completed some graduate studies at Iona College of New Rochelle.
She has served as the First Vice Chair for Community Board #5
for over 10 years and served on the Community Advisory Board
for Bronx Municipal Hospital (Jacobi). |
