Community Development is Morris Heights Health Center 's major strategic goal and it takes pride in continuing to meet the needs of the neighboring community. Morris Heights Health Center recognizes the population shift in their service area with the arrival of the immigrant Bangladeshi community in the Bronx that utilize as their health care providers. To learn more about the barriers that the Bangladeshi community faces while accessing health care and social services and to assist in reducing them, Morris Heights started conducting a monthly Women's Group Meeting on Saturdays since 2006.
